Jodi K. Maranchie, MD FACS is an Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Research at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Urology where her practice is devoted to the care of patients with urologic cancer. She heads an active, NIH-funded, clinical and translational research program focused on renal cell carcinoma with an emphasis on familial renal cancer syndromes. Dr. Maranchie is a member of AUA Health Policy Council and Chair of the AUA Bylaws Committee. She represents the AUA to the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC), and the National Quality Foundation Standing Cancer Committee. She is co-Editor-in-Chief of Urologic Oncology, Seminars and Original Reports and Assistant Editor of Journal of Urology. She is the current President of the AUA Northeastern Section. She is an active member of the Society of Urologic Oncology and Society of Basic Urologic Research as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She graduated from Brown University and Northwestern University Medical School. Following residency at the Harvard Program in Urology, she completed her Fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the National Cancer Institute. She was awarded the SUO Young Investigator Award in 2008.
