Katie Coleman, President & Founder of COA - After receiving a rare kidney cancer diagnosis in 2020, Katie Coleman channeled her experience into advocacy. She established the Chromophobe and Oncocytic Tumor Alliance (COA) to advance research on chromophobe renal cell carcinoma (ChRCC) and other oncocytic tumors while promoting and fostering collaboration. Beyond COA, Katie actively engages with patient communities and she's in the process of publishing a book about her experience, with proceeds supporting further research, merging her personal narrative with her commitment to the cause.
