Berit Eberhardt has been involved in kidney cancer since 2009 following her partner’s diagnosis with papillary Renal Cell Carcinoma. The rollercoaster of his disease propelled Berit’s interest in kidney cancer. After her partner died she established a patient support group, initiated a non-profit patient organization and became an advocate for kidney cancer. In the past years she established relationships with various patient organizations and Key Opinion Leaders. This enables her to connect patients and organizations with existing resources and experts.

Knowing the needs from supporting over 3.000 kidney cancer patients and caregivers she is committed to highlight the patient perspective and to initiate projects and publications against unmet needs of the kidney cancer community.
