Lisa is a clinical psychologist by training who works at the Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria on a wide range of patient-reported outcome topics in oncology patients. As a member of the EORTC Quality of Life Group, she develops quality of life assessment instruments in international projects, deals with the combination of adverse event assessments with patient-reported outcome instruments, and the setting of standards for the use of patient-reported outcomes in cancer clinical trials (SISAQOL-IMI). In her teaching activities, she works with medical students on communication techniques that both effectively convey information and promote a viable clinician-patient relationship.
